28. Relearn sign language
Start Date: Sometime in February 2008
June 16th 2008: Since I've been working on Lest I Forget, I've been consulting some online resources for American Sign Language in order to write Alice's storyline, since the part of her brain responsible for speech has shut down and sign is the only way she can communicate. I'm very happy that it's coming very easily to me, although it's been years since I've signed in any sort of regular fashion. I'm considering buying some books and reteaching myself for real, possibly with a class or something as well.
