1. Stop letting my depression run my life.

2. Record all blood glucose test results on paper.

3. Write at least 50 poems, to prove I can still do it

4. Make peace with my father and stepmother, even if it’s only inside myself.

5. Finish my bachelor's degree.

6. Eat a deep-fried Mars bar when in Scotland, and try my best not to puke/die because of it

7. Stop using the word "fuck" so much

8. Apply/get accepted to a master's program in Scotland or Sweden

9. By the end of August 2008, get my BUNAC visa application and fee sent in

10. Spend at least 30 nights without the internet/TV.

11. Do 5,000 push-ups and 5,000 sit-ups

12. Deposit at least 5% of my monthly earnings into my checking account, no matter how much I make

The walks have to be at least 45 minutes. It doesn't matter how far I go or at what speed, since these are more for my own enjoyment than any sort of exercise goal, but they have to be at least 45 minutes each.

Because it's been really warm here the past few days, I've decided to start this. Not just because it's on the list, but because it calms me down to walk through the woods or along the river and watch the ducks, because they amuse the hell out of me. I also realized the lack of sunlight was aiding my depression, so I wanted to get some sun on my face, lol.

1. March 24th, 2008: To Little Sweden and back. It's not far but I was walking around in the bookstore there for an hour, lol.
2. March 27th, 2008: Cityline Plaza and back. 25 minutes each way.
3. March 28th, 2008: Cityline Plaza and back. 25 minutes each way.
4. March 29th, 2008: Ben Butterworth Parkway (river path). 1 hour.
5. March 30th, 2008: down to Katy's Market and back. Got an imported root beer from Germany, lol. 45 minutes.
6. March 31st, 2008: grocery store and back. 45 mins
7. April 1st, 2008: three miles around the park. 1 hour
8. April 2nd, 2008: a mile and a half around the park. 45 mins
9. April 3rd, 2008: Katy's Market and back. 1 hour
10. April 4th, 2008: Cityline Plaza and back. 45 mins

57-100. From September 17th to October 28th, 2008: With as much walking as I've done here in Edinburgh since getting here, I'm probably short on the number. But I'm willing to be. It has to be at least 100 by now, and honestly I feel much better for it.
100-175. From October 28, 2008 to April 28th 2009: With Edinburgh, Ireland, and now over a week back home (while daily walks of two miles) I'm guesstimating that I'm at 175 now. That's probably low, actually. I've been horrible at putting them here but I've been walking a hell of a lot and can now fit into my old jeans to prove it. lol
176. June 30th, 2009: Walked at least two miles today from the library and around the city a little.
